ESRC: Economic and Social Research Council’s Post

We are launching a new funding opportunity for the development of social science research skills. We will be commissioning a new strategic leadership hub to develop, structure and facilitate research skills training in collaboration with the research community. The new model will: • Lead the development of research skills training that social scientists need throughout a typical research project from design through to impact. • Make an inclusive and accessible ‘one stop shop’ for researchers to access training. • Support researchers to develop their research skills across all career stages, and for the entirety of their careers. • Respond quickly to provide training in skills that are needed now and those anticipated in the future.
