🎗️ Reminder - Community Action & Fairer Life Chances Funds The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland has two funds open to #Aberdeenshire application: Community Action - will support community activities that bring communities together to improve wellbeing and develop positive relationships within those communities. Projects should help people connect with each other and/or the environment. The definition of community is being broadened for this fund to include people who share an identity, interest or experience, as well as people living in the same place. You can apply for funding between £20,001 and £250,000 for up to five years. Fairer Life Chances - Fairer Life Chances is for projects providing services that support children, young people and families, or that help people to be healthier or have better access to support. You can apply for funding between £20,001 to £500,000 for up to five years. At Dumbo Octopus Consulting, we’re pushing back against false beliefs that say our clients don’t deserve good pay for what they do, by implementing decent work practices with everyone we support, including living wages and benefits. An Investing in Rural Community Futures grant helped create lasting change fortfor young people living in the Bay & Basin region of NSW. Uniting - Firefly Bay & Basin partnered with Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc to receive a $26,000 grant from FRRR. The grant helped to employ a Youth Practitioner to coordinate their Youth Voice program and it was funded by the Community Enterprise Foundation (the philanthropic arm of Bendigo Bank). Musgrave Foundation, is requesting proposals from nonprofits that support affordable and safe housing opportunities for low-income families 🏠✨ With $250,000 available for 2025, the goal of the “Keys to Housing” grant program is to provide long-term solutions to the lack of affordable housing options in the Springfield metropolitan statistical area of Greene, Christian, Dallas, Polk and Webster counties, with a focus on Greene County. Eligible nonprofits can request up to $100,000 annually for up to three years to support efforts such as: 🔑 Building or renovating affordable housing units 🔑 Improving accessibility in affordable housing 🔑 Education about affordable housing programs 🔑 Advocating for housing policy reform 🔑 Establishing emergency funds for families at risk of displacement Initial concept letters are due Feb. 20. In January 2020 Severn Trent committed to giving away more than £10m over five years to community projects across the region, to make a real difference in the communities we serve. The fund focuses on three elements of community wellbeing: 1) People, 2) Place; and 3) Environment - with a favourability shown to projects that lie within a sweet spot that incorporates all three. Now in its fourth year Severn Trent are proud to have supported 103 not for profit organisations across the region with more than £2million in grants, helping support our communities and increase wellbeing for our customers. £628'188 has been awarded to 41 organisations to support core funding and £1'384'481 has been awarded to 62 projects.
