What an incredible experience! Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to Bangalore, India, for our annual APAC Mid-Year Meet Up (MYMU) event. It was my first time in India, and I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and the chance to finally meet so many of my global teammates in person. Some I’ve worked with for years but had never met face-to-face until now! This trip truly reinforced the power of in-person collaboration. While we’ve worked together virtually, nothing compares to those meaningful, face-to-face conversations. Key takeaways: - Learning about new workflows and initiatives that will help us scale our customer support efforts. - Attending workshops that emphasized customer-first thinking and setting up new ways to support them more efficiently. - Having fun moments like team-building activities, including laser tag and cricket or just conversing over a meal and traveling the busy streets of Bangalore. My advice: If you ever have the opportunity to connect with your global team in person—take it! Even just a week together has had such a positive impact on my understanding of the team's unique strengths, challenges, and working styles.
