Up to 10% of #cancers are thought to be caused by #genetic changes that are passed from parent to child. The FDA has granted marketing authorization for [the Invitae Common Hereditary #Cancers Panel] blood test that detects inherited #genetic changes that may increase the risk of developing certain #cancers. The test is the first of its kind to be granted marketing authorization.
