Valuable opportunity to thoroughly assess key challenges and demonstrate how we can contribute. 🤝 From the maritime engineering perspective, we already have strong bonds with Norway, having implemented several projects together. We see the defence sector as an area with significant potential for future collaborations. 🇪🇺📃 The European Union has unveiled the first-ever #EuropeanDefenceIndustrialStrategy (#EDIS), an initiative to fortify the European #Defence #Technological and #IndustrialBase. With a vision set until 2035, EDIS is rooted in collaborative investment and innovation, aiming for seamless operational integration across all domains. 🎯 Strategy Pillars: 1. Strengthen the #EuropeanDefenceTechnologicalAndIndustrialBase (#EDTIB) through increased, more collaborative and #European #Investment from Member States; 2. Improve the responsiveness of the #EuropeanDefenceIndustry under any circumstances and time horizon; 3. Mainstream a #DefenceReadinessCulture, including across #EU #Policies; 4.
