NYC network 📢 📢 📢 This Friday, Stacks+Joules latest cohort (6) graduates. Having spent time in NYC in person and virtually supporting these grads, and knowing what they have to go through in-order to pass the program, I can put my reputation on the line by saying anyone who hires one of these individuals will get the following; -> Hungry to learn & motivated individual who wants a full-time position. -> Committed and loyal employees. -> An opportunity to change a life, and support our industry to slowly become more diverse. Data from S&J's previous placements show that these individuals stay longer in 'your' organisation than the average Technician hire. If you're in NYC, I encourage you to attend this event. You won't be disappointed. Kill it, Stacks+Joules team!! 💙 #smartbuildings #buildingautomation

Reflecting on My First Job as a Software Engineer: A Journey of Growth As I stroll down memory lane, I can't help but smile at the vivid memories of my first job as a Software Engineer. Back then, resources were scarce, and problem-solving meant diving into forums or posting on Code Source, seeking help and guidance. The challenges were real, but so were the lessons. Each line of code was a puzzle waiting to be solved, and every hurdle was an opportunity to learn. It was a time when we embraced the thrill of the unknown, and collaboration was the key to overcoming obstacles. Fast forward to today, and the landscape has transformed beyond recognition. The wealth of resources available is staggering, and problem-solving has evolved into a collaborative and dynamic process. The journey from seeking help on forums to contributing to open-source projects has been nothing short of transformative. Looking back, I realize how much we've changed and how the tech world continues to evolve. It's a testament to the resilience and adaptability of our community. I'm grateful for the experiences that shaped me and excited about the continuous journey of growth. To all the budding engineers out there, embrace the challenges, savor the victories, and never stop learning. The tech world is a dynamic playground, and your journey is just beginning! #SoftwareEngineering #TechEvolution #CareerJourney #LearningAndGrowing #careerownershiphub

Deloitte Front-End Developer | Open To Collaborations & Opportunities | Using Tech to Drive Real-World Impact | TypeScript | Next.JS
A few years ago, I realized I wasn’t feeling fulfilled in my current path. Despite working 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week, I never let go of the curiosity and drive to become the person I aspired to be—even though I wasn’t there yet. I knew change was possible if I remained focused on my goals. One pivotal moment came during a fully paid work trip to Austin, Texas. That experience opened my eyes to the power of setting goals and taking actionable steps toward them. It showed me that we can transform our lives if we commit to the journey. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve become a successful software developer, living the career I once envisioned. Austin was an unforgettable experience—the people, the culture, and the food were amazing. I look forward to returning someday, but more importantly, I’m grateful for how it marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Stay curious and take those steps—you’ll be surprised at where it leads! #softwaredevolper #computerprogramming #fullstack
