At EdgeConneX, our commitment to our Customers, People, and Planet mission guides every step we take—whether scaling global infrastructure solutions or supporting the local communities we call home. This December, our Atlanta-based team proudly partnered with local organizations to give back and spread holiday joy. During the FEEDING GA FAMILIES Christmas Gift and Toy Giveaway, we worked alongside community members to bring smiles to 180 children and their families. From setting up to distributing gifts, we were glad to help make the event a heartfelt success. Our team also contributed to the Union City Toy and Food Drive, helping ensure families had toys under the tree and food on their tables during the holiday season. The turnout highlighted the power of collaboration and underscored the importance of community engagement. We’re incredibly proud of our team’s giving spirit and look forward to participating in more initiatives throughout 2025. At EdgeConneX, we believe in not just powering technology, but empowering communities. Together, progress and purpose create meaningful impact. https://hubs.la/Q034jDYR0 #CustomersPeoplePlanet #CommunityEngagement #Sustainability #Volunteer

What an incredible journey this project has been! One of my favorite things about working for Neighborhood Forest is the space to ideate, create, and explore new ideas. Last Summer it was clear that we needed to find a solution for kids living in apartments / condos who did not have a yard to plant a tree. Vikas N. said something along the lines of, "Alright, Clara, go have fun with this one!" and I was off - total creative freedom. This initiative was a top priority for me upon joining Neighborhood Forest, and it was incredibly fulfilling to leverage my background in Entrepreneurship to craft a new program. With mentorship, continuous feedback, and generous partners willing to pilot alongside us - we created, tested, failed a few times (like realizing terracotta pots weren't the best choice for kids – cue the broken pots!), iterated, and tried again (woo-hoo to shatterproof peat pots)! Fast forward a year, and we've laid a solid foundation for the Indoor Plant Program, providing over 2,000 kids with their very own succulent to nurture indoors. While there's still plenty of room for growth and refinement, I've learned from my entrepreneurial mentors that perfection isn't a prerequisite for action. I can't wait to see how this Indoor Plant Program "grows"🪴 #Entrepreneurship #freeplantsforkids #joy #beauty #goodness #NeighborhoodForest
This year, we are excited to celebrate a significant milestone with the launch of the Neighborhood Forest Indoor Plant Program! Inspired by the reality that not every child has a yard to plant a tree, this initiative is a vital step towards inclusivity and our mission to reach every child in North America, and eventually the world. While this program is just a "seed", we're delighted to share that we've already provided over 2,000 children with their own indoor plant to care for and nurture inside of their homes! Thanks to our corporate partners Winnebago Industries, Mortenson, AMD, ChangeX, and Ascot Group for leading the way with us on this initiative. We are partnering with companies looking to engage their employees in a hands-on volunteer activity that helps fund, build, and deliver succulents kits for kids in our program. We have many eager institutions on our waitlist looking to partake in this program. Join us in inspiring all kids to love and care for plants, trees & nature! #NeighborhoodForest #IndoorPlantProgram

Want to inspire the next generation of changemakers? It starts at home. We often think of volunteering as a selfless act, but it’s also a powerful lesson for our kids. Data shows that teens whose parents volunteer are nearly twice as likely to volunteer regularly themselves. And teens that volunteer are twice as likely to volunteer as adults. Why? Because the example we set quietly shapes their beliefs. It’s not the grand gestures that make the biggest impact—it’s the small, consistent actions: the food bank trips, park cleanups, and time spent helping others. These moments become woven into the fabric of family life, subtly teaching our kids that giving back isn’t an obligation—it’s an opportunity. It’s a habit they learn by watching us, a story they carry forward. So next time you step up to volunteer, remember: you’re not just giving your time. You’re building a legacy of service for the next generation. Let’s lead by example. #Volunteering #FamilyImpact #LegacyOfService #LeadByExample

Sometimes, finding the right connection can turn a holiday into something unforgettable. (This is how 100 underserved families in Miami, Florida, received bikes—and joy—this Christmas.) When I heard about Calijah Kancey and his team’s vision to give back during the holiday season, I knew it was something special. But there was one challenge—we didn’t have a partner to make it happen. So, I got to work. After some research and outreach, I connected with Huffy Bicycles, knowing they could help bring this vision to life. What followed was nothing short of inspiring: 1️⃣ Calijah’s team and Huffy aligned on a shared mission to make this Christmas brighter. 2️⃣ Together, they organized a giveaway for 100 underserved families. 3️⃣ The result? 100 bikes under Christmas trees, smiles on kids’ faces, and a community filled with holiday cheer. It’s moments like these that remind me why connections matter. To Calijah Kancey and Huffy Bicycles—thank you for creating such a meaningful impact during the holidays. The takeaway? Sometimes, the best gifts aren’t under the tree—they’re the partnerships and teamwork that make the magic happen. #CommunityImpact #HolidayGiving #Christmas2024 #UnderservedCommunities #MakingADifference #PartnershipsMatter #GiveBack #MiamiFamilies #ConnectionCounts Huffy Corporation , Calijah Kancey , Ishmael Lawrence

“When you do good, you feel good” 😊 We love the way our corporate partners go above and beyond to help us to tell the world about our mission to transform children’s futures with targeted reading support! 📚 It was brilliant to collaborate with our corporate partner Compare the Market on this video for #VolunteersWeek exploring how the Chapter One Online Reading Volunteers Programme works, why Compare the Market chooses to partner with Chapter One, and how their wonderful volunteers are supporting pupils at Leighton Primary School in Peterborough. For Sara Rolph [Sara R.], CSR Manager at Compare the Market, partnering with Chapter One is aligned to their CSR strategy, allowing them to support the local community. Their wonderful volunteers also benefit from a rewarding, flexible, online volunteering opportunity that slots easily into their working week. For today’s #MissionMonday, we want to feature one of our recent CASS Cares volunteer events! Our intern and Core Members decorated holiday placemats for a local nursing home to bring some extra cheer and color to the residents’ day. Our Core Members really enjoyed this event, and we love seeing them give back to our community. It’s important to us to empower our Core Members to be people who prioritize caring for others. . . . #CASSHousing #Volunteering #GiveBack #OurCommunity Alt Text Image 1 - A group of 6 people holding up Christmas placemats that have been decorated.
