At Edge we love to work with partners who have expertise in specific industries. We collaborate by brining the Design Thinking knowledge and processes to support organisations to consider the most appropriate way to create, deliver and improve products, services and processes. Recently we have collaborated with the Derwent Valley Car Club, a small community based car club who are dedicated to making a difference and create a 'just transition' in the Gateshead and County Durham. What does a 'just transition' actually mean? It means means moving to a more sustainable greener future in a way that's fair to everyone. DVCC are playing their part by making shared electric vehicles accessible and affordable for people whilst also delivering mobility to people who cannot drive. But they want to go a step further... Together we have investigated the creation of a 'Car Club in a Box' a system for sharing their best practices for the development of community based car clubs across the North East and beyond.
