I often discuss how one of the key aspects powering the growth of #digitaltwins is their potential to facilitate the integration of #efficient and #sustainable #ai in an organization, and it seems this idea is taking off. According to a recent article by The Economist, digital twins are making companies more efficient and "also help them reap the benefits of advances in AI." But there's a catch. Effective Digital Twins, and subsequent AI adoption, is improved with a new focus on #dataarchitecture. Moving to a #datamesh, for example, leaves #data products in their original systems and transform those systems into data-as-a-product - facilitating the creation of digital twins and integration of AI by leveraging data repositories previously inaccessible to key stakeholders and/or other systems.
