You've got a global meeting to organise with a budget of less than £20k. There's not a chance of you be able to cover transport, accommodation, food and beverage, room hire and more on that budget. With a rise in people wanting to get back together for in person events, we've clocked up some air miles this quarter. But the cost effective more sustainable virtual meetings and events are still proving popular! Plus the video production team have been working round the clock to hit deadlines. Yes we can travel and have 400 people in a room. Yes it feels great to meet new people, network and get together with colleagues away from the office environment. In a virtual meeting we often run a session at least twice, in order to cover global time zones. No one has to travel and we can share messages and connect with hundreds of people in a 1 hour session. Sometimes you really can save budget and time.
