I wish I could drop this ! This I said to my seat mate as I checked the time table in preparation for the next class But I couldn't because it had been made a compulsory subject so I would have to seat.for the examination in the forth coming WAEC examinations Data processing in my own perspective was useless being that it should have just been a topic under Computer Science rather than it standing as a subject on it's own. The teacher who taught the topic made it worse because he wasn't good at teaching. This made the class very boring and difficult to comprehend . All he taught everyday was "a table is said to be in it's first normal form if" So I never liked the Subject and wished it could be removed from the school's syllabus. But I always passed it using the application of my knowledge of Computer. But it's amazing to see how the course "Data analysis" is now a top notch skill to acquire as it evolved from the subject and concept of "Data Processing". This shows that no subject is useless. Just like no knowledge gained is a waste, the knowledge acquired from that subject can be useful if not for the now, in the nearest future. But the method of teaching and the efficiency of the teacher who teaches that subject are factors that greatly affect the perception of students with regards to the useful of these subjects. P.S: What subject was useless to you #tss 1.0

Social Network Analysis (SNA) is vital in academic environments. SNA can improve scholarly communication, enhance research output, and create more cohesive and efficient academic communities. The article below outlines the iterative process of Social Network Analysis (SNA), emphasizing key steps: defining learning questions, network parameters, engaging stakeholders, collecting data, analyzing findings, and sharing results. It highlights the importance of clear objectives and parameters to guide data collection and analysis. The analysis includes metrics like density, centrality, reciprocity, and clusters to assess network dynamics. Finally, it stresses sharing results with participants and the public, adhering to ethical guidelines. https://lnkd.in/dNRwD4Et
