”I will not normalize driving without a license” Dimitrios Vlachopoulos, PhD, SFHEA, FRSA emphasises the importance of investing in your own education and development in evidence-based learning at the Dutch EdTech community event last week 💫 Startups & scaleups in EdTech have the chance to change the way learning is delivered, from kindergarten to university, and at every stage in our careers. It would be a pity to stick only to quick fixes in Education and L&D. Two important reminders I took away, on learning impact measurement: 🤝 Partnerships are key For example, a researcher working with a start-up and an established platform to deliver a company's learning solution. You don’t need to build everything yourself, build what you’re good at and partner with others to get the most impactful results 🎨 A mix is best Qualitative and quantitative data are both needed to get a good insights on the outcomes & results of the learning solution. Gather insights from everyone involved: learners, their peers, their managers, trainers, partners...
