We've been a little quiet on socials these last 2 weeks whilst we process your fantastic abstracts! Our team are currently in the process of supporting submitted abstracts through the review process, and we've had a number accepted already - congratulations if you've had your acceptance email! Abstract review for a conference can take several iterations to ensure that the clarity & content of an abstract is as best as possible so audiences can understand your work. One of the benefits of the Alltech-Hartpury Student Conference is that all our reviewers are trained to support students in this process, offering constructive feedback designed to develop lifelong research skills. Don't forget - if you've submitted an abstract, keep an eye on your emails for your reviewer comments. The deadlines are tight so please action feedback as quickly as you can! We look forwards to seeing you on the 8th May! Don't forget, tickets are still on sale, and can be purchased here: https://lnkd.in/enBeTqNj

My colleagues Jessica Ickes & Ken Newbold and I have had multiple insightful discussions with campus partners about RNL’s Market and Research Services. Many colleges and universities want to know how their academic programs stack up in terms of market share and what programs are in highest demand. RNL’s Market Research Team can provide institutions with primary and secondary insightful market research as well as external third-party expertise to better understand your program strengths and where you have room to improve your portfolio. One of my favorite solutions is the Academic Program Matrix helps you visualize your academic program strength and the questions you should be asking as you prepare for upcoming Board meetings or Cabinet level conversations. Let me know if you would like to hear more about our in-depth innovative market research to meet your institutional goals.

So excited to share this publication announcement!!! Thank-A-Professor has been one of the most rewarding projects I've worked on. It's the little things that mean the most! The icing on the cake was working with such wonderful colleagues. Thank you all! Abstract: College faculty have experienced increasing levels of stress, due to workload demands, declining budgets, and other factors. The COVID‐19 pandemic exacerbated these conditions, which resulted in even higher levels of disengagement among faculty (Rio Poncela, 2021). In this editorial, the authors argue that faculty recognition, as a means of faculty engagement, is key to shifting the culture of higher education to one of appreciation. The Thank‐A‐Professor program aims to recognize the often unseen labor performed by faculty and serves as a model that can be implemented regardless of institutional type. A rationale and timeline for the program, summary of impact, and recommendations for implementation are included. https://lnkd.in/eiz6c7Yb
