Education in Action’s Post

🎉 That’s a wrap on the incredible GCSE Maths in Action event! ✨ From interactive puzzles to exploring the maths of luck, today was packed with unforgettable moments. Here's a quick look at the highlights: 🎲 Luck or logic? Alison Kiddle explored probability and even spilled some secrets from their appearance on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire. 👁️ Mind bending illusions! Matt Pritchard amazed us with an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the maths behind optical illusions. 📊 Statistics with a twist! Dr. Emily Grossman showed us how numbers can be twisted in the media – a hilarious and eye-opening session. 🔢 Puzzles and conundrums galore! Alex Bellos challenged our brains with interactive puzzles and demos. Did you know he writes The Guardian’s famous Monday maths puzzle? 🎤 Gameshow vibes! Kyle Evans brought us the (little) Big Maths Gameshow, full of wild maths facts and audience participation. Huge thanks to the amazing speakers ... until next time! 🙌 #MathsInAction #GCSEMaths #LoveMaths
