Attention: Enrollment management colleagues. If are interested in getting some insight into the experience students have as they are completing enrollment and registration steps, I recommend you convince an incoming family to record their session using Zoom. We had a family allow us to watch (and listen) thier experience. Sheesh, we are leaning a lot!!! Some quick takeaways… *We ask for way to many separate logins for the hodgepodge of systems involved. *We use too much jargon. *Most students are not going to read all of the directions we’ve so carefully crafted; they want to follow their instinct. *We ask for a lot of stuff we need/want that really trips students up at this point in their journey. It’s been a humbling experience experience to sit through the nearly three recordings. Yet, it’s also inspiring to think about the improvements and changes we can make to better serve our students! #emchat #admissions

Endless online lessons can be boring 😴 but not ours! 🥳 Our sessions are interactive and make students use their brains (sorry) - this is an example from yesterday's evening class. We used a Zoom Whiteboard to refresh memories over key words. The students collaboratively complete the definitions of the words, use it in a sentence and give an example. People who are chatty can speak out and people who prefer to work quietly can take part by typing in the post its. Bonus points for anyone who can guess the module by the target words!

Hey LinkedIn fam! Let's talk about the "Third Teacher" concept – not your average classroom wisdom, but a game-changer for projects and offices too! So, let's pimp those project spaces, turn them into inspiration havens! Share your tips on LinkedIn - how a kickass environment fuels creativity, productivity, and maybe a touch of magic! #ThirdTeacher #ProjectMagic #OfficeVibes #LinkedInLearning #MentoringMatters GIF credit to sketchplanations.com Follow me if you like it 😉
