The Taylor's School Group has been educating children for over 20 years and is one of the largest private K-12 schools’ groups in the region with 5 schools in Malaysia and 1 in Singapore. Each of the schools offers its own unique approach to learning and are connected by a common purpose which is to educate the youth of the world to take their productive place as leaders in the global community. It is the group's goal to nurture individuals who are not only academically sound, but also globally aware. This position will be based in KL reporting to the President. You will be part of Taylor’s Schools Office & oversee the quality of the delivery of the teaching & learning for all schools. You will develop the strategic priorities for each of the schools and play a significant role in the overall teaching & learning direction of Taylor’s Schools and its portfolio of schools in the region. Job Responsibility: The Group Education Director (GED) will collaborate with our Principals and the academic teams at the schools to provide the strategic direction for the development and implementation of a quality teaching and learning framework, program development and accreditation, management of resources and provision of academic services that enrich the student experience. The key is to ensure that we provide learning at the schools that is relevant to this day and age. The GED will also be providing pedagogical direction for digital education and the use of technology in teaching and learning in alignment with the strategic priorities of the schools. Together with the schools, the GED will develop a shared vision, and define and implement a multi-year strategic plan for the comprehensive integration of technology, promoting excellence and supporting change throughout the instructional environment. Qualifications and Requirements ● At least a Bachelor’s degree but an Advanced Degree qualification specialising in Education and/or Teaching and Learning is preferred ● Demonstrated knowledge and experience of digital curriculum development and instructional strategies and tools in K-12 schools, including the management and evaluation of teaching and learning effectiveness ● Demonstrated experience in effective teaching and learning including ability to develop scholarly, innovative, and flexible approaches to teaching and the facilitation of learning A very attractive remuneration package is offered including a competitive salary, housing allowance, free tuition, annual flights etc. Only qualified candidates should apply.
