It's FAQ Friday again! Question: I live in New York City. My loved one, my Dad lives in California. He is showing signs of forgetfulness and we have no relatives on the west coast. How do I manage his senior care? Answer: The situation you are in is one of the main reasons we founded CARESULTANTS. The additional burden of figuring out how to find and manage the needed care can be very complex on families who are out of state. We can examine the needs your Father has and provide clear next steps with/for you so that you can stay where you are while we oversee the process. Once we define the right care plan together we can coordinate and manage the journey. #FAQs #Caresultants #CaregivingJourney

World Day of the Sick (February 11th), a day celebrated to remind people to pray for all those who are ill and for their caregivers. It was instituted by Pope John Paul II a year after he was diagnosed of Parkinson's disease. He instituted it as a way to promote awareness about the challenges faced by those who are ill, as well as to encourage acts of solidarity, compassion, and support for the sick and suffering around the world. The theme for the 32nd World Day of the Sick in 2024 is "It is not good that man should be alone". Healing the Sick by Healing Relationships. Its objectives include: - Recognition of the Sick. - Prayer and Reflection. - Promotion of Healthcare. - Support for Caregivers. - Advocacy for Compassionate Care. Let's care for one another with dignity, respect, and love, especially in times of illness and adversity. #prayforthesick #careforthesick #supportcaregivers #worlddayofthesick

It encourages a compassionate approach toward end-of-life and associated bereavement services to assist the community in dealing with loss and grief. In honor of National Public Health Week, we invite you to read our recent article that touches on this and more: Why should we care about hospice? https://bit.ly/49iglGZ #NPHW

Compassionate care is so important! Today confirmed a few things for my daughter who is a young adult: 1. You're not being dramatic. You're actually sick & tried to tough it out too long. 2. You're not a burden, you're worth my time and investment. 3. Multiple care providers apologized for what she went through before she walked through their doors and told her she was in good hands now. 4. You never have to apologize to your momma, or a caregiver, for asking for help AND receiving it. It's. What. We. Do. #sograteful #takingcareofwhatmattersmost
