Accountant

Starting a business can be scary and extremely expensive. One way of saving money and protecting your fledgling business is to contract a freelance finance manager who knows how to set up what you need, who can take you through the whole process and who'll be by your side until you're ready to recruit a full time Finance Director. So many start up businesses plunge directly into searching for a full time employee when what they need is flexible support to get them started. Always consider freelancers in the first instance. Surround yourself with the support that you need on your own terms and refrain from tying yourself up in knots with long term employment contracts that may be hard to get out of, especially while you're finding your way. Remember, everything in baby steps. There are thousands of freelancers out there, ready to help and support you. Ask for recommendations, ask your friends and associates who they use, ask your accountant - think before you post that employment advert on Indeed...
