𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 🌟 Congrats to Beijing HyperStrong Technology who has been named a finalist of The smarter E AWARD 2024 in the Category "Outstanding Projects" for their remarkable HyperStrong Wind, PV Plus Storage Project in Fuyang, Anhui! This groundbreaking energy storage project consists of a total of 90 standard containers with a capacity of 300 MW/600 MWh, equipped with liquid cooling. It prevents temporary excess electricity from photovoltaic and wind power sites from being curtailed by storing it and feeding it into the power grid at a later time. To put this in perspective: based on a monthly domestic electricity consumption of 200 kWh, this project can cover the electricity demand of 3,000 households for a month, or the daily electricity consumption of 5.5 to 6 million kWh in the district of Fuyang for around 2 to 3 hours. The capacity of these power plants will be 1.2 million kW, with 650,000 kWp coming from photovoltaics and 550,000 kW from wind power. Once completed, it is expected to generate almost 2 billion kWh of renewable electricity per year.
