We want customers and clients to stay with us and to refer us to their connections so service needs to be near the top of your agenda. In the model I share with my clients there are 10 main areas where customer service needs to be considered. It is important to remember that is ‘Wow’ today becomes commonplace tomorrow and so this area of the business needs ongoing focus. Here are 3 that I think are particularly important: • Credibility. You need to be trustworthy, honest and believable. Don’t make false or spurious claims about what your product or service delivers to the customer or client. Demonstrate and share case studies and testimonials that support your messages • Communication. Keep customers informed throughout the ordering, delivery and after the sale. If there are delays then letting customers know is so important. Design a process that is concise, personable and effective • Competence. A seemingly obvious one but make sure you have the skills in your team to deliver that quality service or product #businessowners #success #businessdevelopment
