I remember when the young son of one of our vascular consultants was going to visit theatre as work experience - his colleagues jokingly asked him if he would recognise him!!

This hits hard. So many surgeons I know struggle with the same issues. This is a very important reminder for early intervention.

Unfortunately, I heard A surgeon suicided, next unfortunately I was not able to attend the funeral to say Goodbye. Leave the unfortunate: 3 or 4 kids, minors and widow.
