Finding a job after incarceration is tough. In fact, it takes most formerly incarcerated people over six months to land their first job after release. But stable employment is crucial for successful reentry, and that's exactly why we're here – to help our men succeed in life after incarceration. You can make a real difference. Support us by shopping at the ReUse Warehouse, hiring our hardworking crews, or choosing our deconstruction services instead of demolition for your next remodel. Together, we can build brighter futures.

I chose a career in recruitment because I have a genuine passion for helping others. Similarly, my involvement in rescue work stems from my desire to make a positive impact. Working as a recruiter at STG has been incredibly fulfilling because I have the opportunity to transform people's lives for the better. Likewise, being involved in rescue work allows me to play a part in changing the lives of every dog we save. But what exactly does it mean to help? Helping is the act of providing assistance and support to others, with the intention of making tasks or situations easier for them. It encompasses offering guidance, providing necessary resources, and offering emotional support, all of which are essential for fostering collaboration, personal growth, and community well-being. At Software Technology Group, we prioritize the well-being of our employees. We invest in their careers and are dedicated to helping them achieve their professional goals. Through continuous education and training opportunities, we empower our employees to reach new heights in their careers. Now, I'd like to turn the question to you. What is it that you need help with? Are you someone who enjoys helping others? And if so, what kind of assistance have you provided to your community?

Do you have a need for reasonable speed? Do you enjoy driving? Do you enjoy helping people who can't/don't drive get to places they need to be? Community Care wants to talk to you! Community Care Peterborough and the sibling groups in Lakefield, Chemung, Havelock and Millbrook need drivers who can take their clients to appointments and outings. Imagine being a senior or person with disabilities in Havelock and having an appointment at PRHC or Campbellford, but no vehicle access and no friends or family who can take the day off to get you there. This is where the Community Care groups step in. The whole point of Community Care is to help people stay in their homes, and transportation is definitely part of that. There are some clear requirements for this position regardless of which group you sign with, including Vulnerable Sector Screening, references, and a separate application form. We'll get you to the page so that you can choose the closest location to where you live, and go from there. For people who can't take transit (show us the bus that comes in from Millbrook; we'll wait) or are no longer able to drive themselves, this is a very, very important aspect of them maintaining independence. Be the smiling face that helps that happen. Find the postings here: https://buff.ly/3rsamzk #DriversNeeded #VolunteersRock #GreyPower #CommunityBuilding #Independence

Brigette Hyacinth 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I don't care whether you come into the office at 8 am. I don't care if you choose to work from home or not. I don't care if you work from the garage while they fix your car. I hired you for a job and I trust you to get it done. Just let me know what you need from me to be successful in your role. And I will show up for you. Life happens! You don't need to justify to me why you need a day off. You don't need to explain how sick your child is to leave early. You don't need to apologize for having a personal life. Yes, I care about results but I also care about you. We are all human and we are all adults. I lead people. I don't run an adult day care center. My advice for anyone hiring: 1. Select the right people. 2. Agree on deliverables (be crystal clear). 3. Provide proper tools and support. 4. Get out of their way. Agree?

As you can see, I tell great jokes 😉 If you have followed me from Covid days, then you know that Emily Hadzipasic and I were once a dynamic Call Centre & Sales Team specialising in volume recruitment. So much has changed since then - 2 more babies between us, some job changes and responsibilities, different priorities etc. But some things have stayed the same, for example, our consistent need to accidentally match outfits, a good laugh, a stash of sour lollies and a common interest in supporting people in finding meaningful work. ✨ It's friendships like these that make Beaumont People special and a great place to work. #MeaningfulWork #PlacingPeopleFirst #WereHiring
