I'm speaking to a lot teachers at the moment who've been thinking about leaving teaching for more than a year. Sometimes for several years... Firstly, this is really common. The school year goes incredibly fast which probably speaks more to living in a constant state of reactivity, than it does to "time flying while you're having fun..."! On average it takes 2 terms to successfully secure a new role in the Academy. Some do it in 6 weeks, others take a year. The common denominator however, is their commitment to get some support to make the desire to leave a reality. To take action. Which can look like little, gentle, weekly steps, or it can look like diving into the training and resources over the holidays! Our new coaching pods are filling up nicely, ready to start this Easter holidays - get in touch if you'd like one of the remaining Academy places. 😊

Another successful day implementing the ROCUP Programme in a Birmingham school, along side Bouncing Statistics Today was based on educating the children on the importance of building healthy habits in to their lives and providing them with the blueprint of how to do so. It’s easy to tell somebody what to do, it’s another thing telling them how to do it. We also discussed the importance of learning to be able to be resilient, being able to say NO when it’s easy to say YES. This is all refers back to being able to adopt the ROCUP Mentallity and being able to rise over the every day challenges they may face. Rise Over Challenges. 🤝
