The 4-day workweek is finally here to stay. For decades we’ve praised the workaholics who work 70, 80+ hour weeks. But at what cost? Our health? Relationships? Our happiness? Work-life balance is no longer a buzzword. Work-life balance is necessary. And by switching to a 4-day workweek, we can make it a reality. Think about it: - Higher productivity due to a shorter workweek - Happier and healthier employees - Reduced stress and burnout A shorter workweek doesn't mean less output, but it does mean we have time to focus on the things that actually matter - our health, our relationships, and our happiness. So, let’s continue to push for change and make the 4-day workweek the new norm.

2 years ago I wanted to increase company profits, so: We cut the lunch breaks on Fridays. We stopped offering free pizza on Fridays. We cut the Beer Friday initiative. No more beers or alcohol on Fridays. And no more casual dress for our staff members on Fridays, either. We cut all the employee benefits and perks on Fridays, and our company profits exploded. Why? Because we adopted a 4-day work week with Fridays always off, and our employees are the happiest and most productive employees in the industry. Every week is a bank-holiday week at our company, with close to 100 team members having an extended weekend, every week! The perfect work-life balance. We kept the same wages as for a 5 day work-week, and our members only work 8 hours per day on the four days. Happy employees, happy clients! Have a great weekend everyone.

Did you know that the entire team at HCWH Europe transitioned to a four-day week? After a successful trial period, the team unanimously decided to adopt a four-day week to boost productivity and enhance work-life balance. What does a four-day week mean for us? 💻 Work hours: Our daily work hours remain the same from Monday to Thursday. 🌴 Extended weekend: Our weekends now start on Fridays, giving us more time to rest or dedicate to other interests and activities. 🗓 Compensation and leave: No changes - salary and regular annual leave are not impacted.
