We’re excited to highlight one of our major projects of 2024 - a high-altitude ball stop netting installation completed in collaboration with Ward and Burke and Cork County Council This project, which has been featured in the November issue of Premier Construction Magazine, is a testament to our team's ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and deliver innovative safety solutions. The project involved the installation of a 20-metre-high ball stop netting structure adjacent to the Douglas Golf Course in Co. Cork. With the potential hazards posed by stray golf balls to both local residents and passing vehicles, ensuring a solution that would meet safety standards in one of Ireland's most challenging environments was no small feat. The scale of the project pushed the boundaries of what’s typically possible in this area of safety infrastructure. 🌟 Project Spotlight: Riverside Handrail, Pedestrian Guardrail and Fencing 🌟 In partnership with Wills Brothers, HFBC has completed work on the Riverside project near Bught Drive and Great Glen Way, Inverness. The initiative aims to improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and wheelchair users along Ness Walk and Bught Road. The project was delivered in two key stages: 1️⃣ Stage One: Installing timber posts and rail fencing. 2️⃣ Stage Two: Installing decorative handrail and pedestrian guardrail. ⬇️ HFBC is delighted to contribute to improving Inverness's infrastructure. T Lott Ltd has been selected by GRAHAM Construction to deliver the light steel framing for a landmark education project in Ebbsfleet Garden City, Kent. The £80 million Alkerden Academy will provide over 2,200 places for primary and secondary school students, making it one of Kent's largest educational facilities.
