Empowering young minds with the gift of education! We just wrapped up Phase II of our Backpack Drive in Ahmedabad, in collaboration with Karma Foundation. Our Partner-In-Charge, Hiren Modi, and Tax Director, Paula Shah, distributed backpacks full of school supplies to 250 young students, to enable them on their path ahead. We'd like to thank all our people behind this wonderful initiative for yet another successful campaign. #BackpacksForSuccess #CSR #EisnerAmperCares #LifeatEisnerAmperIndia #CommunityService

Idea 23 : India needs public libraries in every city, village, mohalla to foster the spirit of learning. “Where Knowledge is free”…that dream of Rabindranath Tagore is still to be realised in India. And one way of inching closer towards this is to ensure a wide network of libraries across India. With the latest news of three students preparing for students losing their lives because of water logging in a basement library - is also a golden opportunity for the government to work in this direction. #100days100ideas

Building Brighter Futures: Project Vivek Vidya by Deepak Foundation Project Vivek Vidya, a flagship initiative of Deepak Foundation's education program, was born from a simple observation: a lack of quality educational materials hindering children's potential. Since its pilot in Roha, Maharashtra (2015), the project has transformed into a beacon of learning across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Telangana Mobile Libraries: We bring the world of books to children's doorsteps, fostering a love for reading and sparking imagination. Engaging Activities: Storytelling sessions with fun activities go beyond literacy, nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional skills. Community-Based Approach: We collaborate with local communities, including training women as "Vivek Vidya Sathi" (education companions) to ensure project sustainability. The impact is undeniable, over 6500+ children benefitted in 2021-22, gaining essential skills for academic success and life beyond school. Positive community response from children, parents, and teachers fuels our expansion. Project Vivek Vidya aligns perfectly with the New Education Policy 2020. Join us in building a future where every child has the chance to thrive. #ProjectVivekVidya #BuildingBrighterFutures #DeepakFoundation #EducationForAll #MobileLibraries #CommunityEngagement #LiteracyMatters #EmpoweringCommunities #CriticalThinking #CreativeLearning #SocialEmotionalSkills #EducationCompanions #SustainableDevelopment #NewEducationPolicy #TransformingLives #ChildhoodEducation #ImaginationIgnited #ReadingCulture #EducationForFuture #InclusiveLearning

Books open a doorway to a brighter future, but does every child own this key? In order to claim ownership of this key, we resolved numerous issues in the villages of Maharashtra. We identified the pressing problem of high drop-out rates in some of the most impoverished and disadvantaged villages. In response to this issue, Traceable Giving Foundation launched the ‘Books for Change’ initiative. The significant figures from our project narrate our impactful journey. 🏫 54 Schools 🏘️ 54 Villages 📚 14837 Participating Students 📦 14835 Delivered Book Sets 📖 129390 Delivered Books Our aim? To tackle the high drop-out rates and ensure that students in Grade 9 and 10 have access to a complete set of syllabus-based books. These community-operated schools often face challenges in providing necessary resources, but we’re rewriting that story. Under our 'Books for Change' initiative, every student was given a full set of official textbooks, providing them with the tools for a promising future. Because we believe that books pave the way to opportunities, and every child is entitled to that key. #booksforchildren #villages #opportunitiesforall #traceablegiving

Two events this week worth mentioning. Attended annual day function of one of the Pune corporation school run in Public private partnership by The Akansha foundation. What Akansha foundation and their schools are doing is remarkable. Good education, sincere coaching, thus making young children at these schools at par with any international school. Watched Lapataa (लापता) ladies by kiran Rao. What this movie has done without being preachy on women empowerment in 2-3 hrs is super smart. These are big contributions towards nation building. We the citizen of india are nations biggest assets. The more we nurture our population with good education, women work force participation and health care, we will continue to grow. The role of any government should be to just provide opportunity. Recall that in past, whenever we have put blind trust in single individual like“ Indira =India “ or “ Modi kee guarantee” the country has suffered a lot. When some one asks you- What is the alternative to current regime. Just say “ I the citizen of India “ Understand your power as citizen of India. Bring the change this summer.

Founder & CEO at Guarented | President at Jan Chetna Foundation | Dedicated to the service of the Nation
3 days back on Tuesday, I had the privilege of meeting Kiran Vishwakarma, a 4th-grade government school student from Police Colony Seoni. In a candid conversation, Kiran shared her heartbreaking reality. Despite her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, today, like many other days, she couldn't attend school. On a Tuesday, instead of being surrounded by friends and immersed in her studies, Kiran was alone at home. When I asked her why? Because in her school, which has 5 classes from 1st to 5th , there are only 2 teachers. And today, both the teachers were absent. Even if both the teachers are present how are 2 teachers supposed to teach 5 classes which combined have a total of 18 subjects. This isn't an isolated incident but a recurring challenge for Kiran and many other children in her community. The situation is not different in any other Government Primary School in Madhya Pradesh. As the founder of Jan Chetna Manch, it pains me to witness such barriers to education. Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Every child, regardless of their background, deserves access to quality education and dedicated teachers who can guide them towards a brighter future. It's time to ask the tough questions: ❓ Why are there so many vacant teaching positions in our government schools? ❓ What steps are being taken to ensure that these positions are filled with qualified and passionate educators? ❓ How long will our children, like Kiran, have to wait for the education they rightfully deserve? This is not just Kiran's struggle; it's a reflection of a systemic issue that needs urgent attention. We cannot afford to let our future generation's potential go to waste due to administrative negligence. Let's come together to demand accountability and push for immediate action. Our children deserve better. They deserve a future where education is accessible and teachers and basic amenities like fresh water, uniforms, shoes, desks and benches are present in every classroom. These basic amenities were missing from most of the government schools where Jan Chetna Manch's team visited. 📝 Share this post to raise awareness. Together, we can be the voice for Kiran and many others like her. #EducationForAll #RightToEducation #SupportOurChildren #JanChetnaManch #MakeADifference
