👏Today we're celebrating CroiValve's closure of a $16 million Series B funding round to further develop its innovative heart valve treatment technology. 🤝EIT Health has supported CroíValve’s journey since 2017 through various accelerator programmes and funding. 🚀We have also introduced CroíValve to multiple partners through the our networking, enabling them to reach critical milestones, such as conducting extensive testing and validation of the device. 📢CroíValve CEO, Dr. Lucy O'Keeffe, said: “Our Series B fund raise enables us to execute our plan to help the millions of patients suffering from severe tricuspid valve disease through a novel transcatheter tricuspid treatment option designed to treat a broad patient population without the anatomic limitations and procedural complexity that is limiting scalability of today’s devices.” 📢Graham Armitage, Managing Director of EIT Health Ireland-UK, said, “CroíValve’s commitment to addressing unmet clinical needs through cutting-edge technology is commendable. 🚉 Are you standing on the right platform? 🚉 💂 Last week at #COGUK was fantastic, but what stands out for me is the universally excellent feedback on how good the agenda was (kudos David Jones). 🧠 And it confirmed to me one of the central pillars of the entire #COGSeries: agenda quality sets the tone for the event. 🎙️ In London last week we gave a content platform to speakers from big pharma, small biotech, CROs, FSPs, sites, patient groups, charities, healthcare, and even a sitting MP squeezing us in between house debates – that’s everyone who has a stake in the UK clinical research market. ❓And what did that mean? That meant we had an audience that were thoroughly engaged, and in the room to make improvements both to their work and to the lives of the patients their work ultimately reaches. 🤝 And that audience, because they were stimulated by the very best in agenda content, had in-depth and meaningful conversations with our top-tier group of solution and service provides. 🤷♂️ So what am I getting at here? 👊 Agenda quality is *CENTRAL* to your return-on-investment at conferences.
