The complexity of modern air space management and the ATC systems with which the air traffic control officer (ATCO) must interact influences workload and task performance. If the ATCO is using data feeds from multiple sources, a conventional KVM switch is typically used to manage multiple video signals, keyboard, and mouse operations in the system. However, there are many technical limitations to the conventional KVM switch that pose many challenges for system integrators and ANSP (navigation service provider) technical staff. EIZO has developed an answer to these concerns with its SwitchLink internal switching management technology. Built directly into the monitor, this technology supports mouse, keyboard, and dynamic touch switching from up to 6 sources without needing a KVM! Make the switch to a smarter monitor. Giant step towards #iNM. Congrats to all involved. 👏👏👏 Promising improvements in the way we manage traffic flows and #weather. Can’t wait to see #iFlow deployed officially into operations. AI is here and it is used for #AirTrafficFlowManagement. ✅
🎯Great progress on iFLOW, our prototype interface 🖥️for NMOC controllers, which has recently passed a major validation exercise ✔️ iFLOW, a prototype for the future user interface for EUROCONTROL Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) controllers within iNM, NM's new integrated Network Management system - designed by NMOC controllers & developed by #EIH the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub near Paris. In the latest validation exercise held in the NM ops room, the focus was on: 📌 the pre-tactical timeframe 📌 advanced map integration 📌 the support iFLOW can provide to controllers in their daily tasks by improving their situational awareness and decision-making processes. The team connected iFLOW to the PREDICT system to obtain D-1 and D-2 flight data and support users in analysing the network situation, and preparing the Initial Network Plan. iFLOW provided the right level of information in a user-friendly manner. Feedback from controllers was really positive, emphasising that the tool eases and simplifies their daily work. The interface now continues its transition to operations and will be used by NMOC controllers during the upcoming Cross-Border Weather trial. 👉 More info: Hamid Kadour

𝗙𝗗𝗠𝗔 𝘃𝘀. 𝗧𝗗𝗠𝗔: 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻? Ever wondered how multiple two-way radios can communicate on the same frequency without interference? It all comes down to two key technologies: FDMA and TDMA. 𝗙𝗗𝗠𝗔 (𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀) is like having separate lanes on a highway. Each channel gets its frequency, ensuring clear and uninterrupted communication. It's perfect for smaller areas and offers simplicity and efficiency. 𝗧𝗗𝗠𝗔 (𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀) is more like a carpool. Users share the same frequency but take turns transmitting in specific time slots. This can be more efficient, especially in high-traffic areas, but requires more complex infrastructure. So, which one is better? 𝗙𝗗𝗠𝗔 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿: • Smaller operations • Areas with limited spectrum availability • Simple, straightforward solutions 𝗧𝗗𝗠𝗔 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿: • High-traffic areas • Efficient use of spectrum • Advanced communication needs Still trying to figure it out? Our experts can help you figure out the best option for your specific needs. Let's chat! #FDMA #TDMA #technology #communication #radio #business #industry #twowayradios

AIRBUS Hybrid Base Station TB4 - Smart Evolution TB4 is not only fully compatible with today’s TETRA networks, but it also supports broadband LTE access. This hybrid base station delivers the same powerful features and capabilities as its predecessor, the TB3 - the world’s most popular TETRA base station – and more. In addition to the superior features such as Air-Interface Encryption, Type 1 Handover, and base station fallback, it will also have significantly lower power consumption. This and the possibility to use remote radio units allows OPEX savings. Customers using the TB3 can use the same antenna configurations with the TB4 as well, which means cost savings in network planning and implementation. The above mentioned IT tool is being the single window platform in matter of issuing of Safety certificates for international traffic and admission of vehicles for International traffic. 1. Interoperability of ERTMS Infrastructure: i. European Train Control System (ETCS) for train control ii. GSM-R for train Communication 2. The prominent agenda of ERTMS: i. The Integrated European Signalling System (INESS) was to define a core of standardised functions for future interlocking systems. ii. EULYNX is a project focussed o standardisation of elements of the Signalling system and interfaces to use elements that aim to reduce life-cycle costs. This enables the separation of field elements life cycle and manufacturer from the interlocking. eg: It will be possible to replace an interlocking system by a new type of a different manufacturer and reuse the field elements.
