Research and Development for a Better World: Contributions on eradicating poverty, improving healthcare affordability, enhancing safety at industries etc Investment in Education: It empowers individuals and communities and drives progress. Embrace Failure: Accept failure as part of the learning process. Health and Fitness: Follow the 9:8:7 rule for work, personal time, and sleep. Generative AI (GenAI) is revolutionizing the tech industry, offering new avenues for career growth, particularly for women. According to a recent report by Nasscom and BCG, a majority of women in India’s tech workforce see GenAI as a critical driver for their careers, however, only one-third feel fully prepared to leverage this technology. Despite challenges, women across all levels—from junior to senior management—are ready to invest time and effort into mastering GenAI. Knowledge gaps, lack of access, and limited support remain significant barriers to adoption, especially at senior management levels are key challenges they face. To truly capitalize on GenAI’s potential to promote gender diversity, the industry must focus on addressing these barriers. Clear career pathways, mentorship, flexible work arrangements, ethical training, and fostering a culture of inclusion are key actions that can enable women to fully engage with GenAI. Happy and proud of Fractal's recognition as workplace of choice for women and diverse individuals! As a long-time Fractalite, I’ve witnessed this journey toward building an inclusive environment. It’s been challenging, rewarding, and eye-opening. My personal reflections on this journey: 1. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁. The biggest benefit I’ve seen with inclusion is it makes us more open-minded and explorative. When the designer wonders " Is that what the users need?" or the engineer challenges "Are we falling into the perfection trap?" - we create better solutions. This is what leads to innovation, and why diverse companies do so much better than the rest. 2. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁. Expect roadblocks like “not enough talent” or “what about merit?” or “don't constrain the business.” Use each such challenge as a learning ground. Learn from diversity champions in your network (or well known ones like Tracy Chou, Sheryl Sandberg, Reshma Saujani in tech) to strengthen your resolve. 3. 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. There is a saying at Fractal: “People are people, not resources.” This simple phrase has done more to set the culture than any number of formal training programs. It is a constant reminder to see the person for their full humanity, fostering empathy and respect. 4. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻" & "𝗛𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲" 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁. Some prevailing mindsets that can hinder inclusion. Someone who jumps on every idea and sends frequent updates isn’t necessarily more effective than someone who takes time to provide thoughtful responses. Be the voice that champions prioritizing meaningful contributions over busy work; outcomes, over hustle. Building an inclusive workplace is a journey filled with stumbling blocks, but I have found it to be incredibly fulfilling. I believe that this is the way for each of us to bring out the best in each other and live up to our potential. I’m grateful to be on this path with my Fractalite friends and colleagues—learning, growing, and celebrating together.  #WorkplaceCulture #WomenInTech #DiversityAndInclusion
