The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road passes through nine states;

- Akwa Ibom
- Cross River
The coastal road starts at Lagos and ends at Calabar, in Cross River State, and also links other major urban centers, industrial hubs, and seaports along the southern coast.
- Purpose: Designed to improve national connectivity and integrate significant routes such as the Badagry Expressway and the Fourth Mainland Bridge.
- Construction: Being built by Hitech Construction Company, with the first section (from Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island to Lekki Phase 1) already underway.
- Features: The highway will have five lanes on each side of the dual carriageway and a train track in the middle.
- Funding: The contract was awarded on a counter-funding basis, with the government paying 50% counterpart funding.
- Expected Impact: The road will increase the size of Lagos State’s economy by 50% and add value to the rich agricultural produce of Cross River State. It will also increase the values of properties and boost economic activities.
