Two days ago, we came back from Europe. We visited more than a dozen customers in France, Switzerland and Germany. The 12-day trip was tough, but the result was sweet. 👣 We visited the customers' workshops, exchanged injection molding technologies face to face, and answered some of the customers' questions. VKE Mold Technology Co.,Ltd The relationship between the screw speed and the oil cylinder pressure in an injection molding machine. For a hydraulic press, the speed is essentially the flow rate of the hydraulic oil. The larger the flow rate, the faster the screw advances. However, the flow rate is determined by the pressure supply. Without the corresponding pressure, even if the valve is fully open, the flow rate cannot increase. The flow rate of the hydraulic oil determines the speed of the screw's forward movement. The movement of the screw is to overcome the filling resistance. Thus, the greater the filling resistance, the greater the pressure required; otherwise, the flow rate determining the speed of the screw's forward movement cannot be achieved. The relationship between pressure and speed is governed by Newton's law, which applies to any hydraulic transmission movement. Therefore, the actual speed and pressure provided by the machine are not determined by how much the process engineer sets, but rather how much the machine can provide. The only difference between the filling and holding pressure stages is that during the filling stage, the machine primarily controls the speed, while during the holding pressure stage, the machine controls the pressure. This is the design function of the injection molding machine, not a change in the relationship between pressure and speed. During the filling stage, the set pressure is the budget, and the set speed is the machine's control target. If the budget is insufficient, the set speed cannot be reached; if the set pressure of the budget is sufficient, the actual pressure required to achieve the desired speed is the result of the system's self-regulation, using as much as needed. #Injection #Mould #Mold #Automotive #interior #exterior #household #supplier #Plastic
