Now, add the cabbage and butter to the pan, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté the cabbage until it's golden and tender. 4. Finally, serve it up in a bowl and drizzle with those delicious pan juices.

One of my favorite soups! Hot & Sour Soup Yield: 2 servings (1 lean, 3 green, 3 condiments) Total Time: 15 minutes 4 cups water 4 oz. fresh shiitake mushrooms, stems removed, thinly sliced ¼ cup cider vinegar 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar 15 oz. firm tofu, cut into thin strips 1 cup bamboo shoots, cut into strips 3 eggs, beaten 2 scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced ½ tsp cayenne pepper ½ tsp ground black pepper Directions 1. In a large soup pot, combine water and mushrooms, and bring to a gentle boil. 2. Stir in the cider vinegar, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar. Add the tofu slices and bamboo shoots; stir gently. Lower the heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes. 3. Pour in the eggs in a very thin stream. Count to 5, and stir a few times slowly. Garnish with scallions and season with pepper.

Recipe: Cook the diced bacon, remove from the pot and set aside. Add the butter, onion, celery, and carrots. Saute the vegetables until they are softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic to the pot and saute for just a minute. Add the chicken broth, ranch packet, pepper, parsley, shredded chicken, sour cream, cream cheese, and cooked bacon. Cook and stir continually until the cream cheese melts into the soup evenly. Add in the cheddar cheese and spinach and cook until the spinach has wilted, and the cheese is melted. Serve soup with additional cheddar cheese and chopped green onions. Salt and pepper to taste. #cook #soup #tasty

Today is the National Day of 🇸🇪Sweden! Let's cook Köttbullar (Meatballs), a traditional Swedish dish. 🧆Prepare the Meatballs: Mix ground beef and pork with white sandwich bread, minced onion, an egg, oil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Form the mixture into small, round meatballs. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the meatballs in batches until they are browned on all sides and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. 🥣Make the Sauce: Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt some butter and whisk in flour to form a roux. Gradually add beef broth and cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for a few minutes. 🍒Serve the meatballs with lingonberry jam, mashed potatoes, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
