Love this post. Question for you: I'm not scared of writing and have published a few books in the past. One a recent children's book. BUT.....I've had an idea for a certain book for nearly 5 years now and I'm so excited by the concept and story that I'm almost a little frightened to start! Have you ever come across that before? Any advice welcome
Great advice Eleanor. Overcoming this fear can be a game-changer in achieving success. What strategies have you found helpful in overcoming the fear of failure when writing?
Now, I finally have to get back to my notes and get my book going. Thanks for sharing Eleanor Baggaley
I am about to put all linkedin posts and articles in one place and organize in chapters - I will name it my first draft :-)
What specific writing challenges have you faced? Nice post
I love this message, when you face fear in the face, you realise it's made up of different inaccurate stories in your head.
Such a powerful message! Finishing the first draft is key—embracing imperfection leads to growth. Let’s conquer those fears together!
Completely agree - getting the first draft out of your head and onto paper/screen/slate etc is the biggest hurdle.
