CBD is generally considered safe for most people when used appropriately: 🌱 Non-psychoactive: Unlike THC, another compound found in cannabis, CBD is non-psychoactive. This means it does not produce the "high" associated with marijuana use. 🌱Not addictive: CBD is not known to be addictive or habit-forming, making it a safer alternative to other medications used to manage certain health conditions. 🌱Well-tolerated by most people: CBD has been widely used and tolerated by many people for various health conditions. However, individual responses can vary, and some people may experience adverse reactions or sensitivities. 🌱Low potential for abuse: CBD does not produce euphoria or a "high" feeling, reducing the likelihood of misuse or abuse. #CBDoil #CBDtips #OrganicLifestyle #Healthylifestyle #CBDforthepeople

Did you know that most THC is excreted through our poop, not urine? That's right, an extract from your feces could technically get you high! In fact, 2/3 of all THC leaves the body via the feces, mostly as 11-hydroxy-THC, but also as unchanged THC. The only THC metabolite found in urine is 11-carboxy-THC, which is not psychotropic and not indicative of recent use. Starting January 1st 2024, California employers will no longer screen for 11-carboxy-THC as a pre-employment drug test. Its the law. Employers can only look at psychotropic cannabinoids as an indicator of recent use, which will greatly reduce the stigma associated with cannabis use. This is progress. This is reform. And it's about time! #california #THC #reform

New study alert! 🚨 Cannabis use, whether smoked, eaten, or vaporized, is linked to a higher risk of heart attack and stroke, according to research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association. 🌿💔 Lead author Abra Jeffers from Massachusetts General Hospital highlights the importance of understanding the cardiovascular risks associated with cannabis use, especially as its perceived harm decreases. 🧠💭 Despite the shift in perception, the study reveals that daily cannabis users face a 25% higher risk of heart attack and a staggering 42% higher risk of stroke compared to non-users. 😱 With data from 430,000 adults spanning from 2016 to 2020, the study emphasizes that even among those who have never smoked tobacco, cannabis use poses significant cardiovascular risks similar to tobacco smoke. 🚭 While more research is needed to fully comprehend the health implications of marijuana use, this study serves as a crucial reminder of the potential dangers associated with cannabis consumption. 📚 Stay informed, stay healthy! #CannabisHealth #HeartAttack #StrokeRisk #ResearchInsights

A tolerance break, also known as a “T-break,” refers to a deliberate period of abstinence from cannabis consumption. The purpose of a tolerance break is to reset the body’s response to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis. Extended and frequent cannabis use can lead to the development of tolerance, where the body becomes less responsive to the effects of THC. Taking a break allows the body to restore its sensitivity to THC, resulting in a more enjoyable and efficient experience upon resuming cannabis use. Read our blog where we explore what T-breaks are, why they are beneficial, and how to efficiently flush THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) out of your body and prepare for a fresh start. #linkinbio 📸 @cannabinista.co

CBD vs THC, what's the big difference? These two cannabis compounds may look alike in structure, but they have very different effects on the body. THC produces a "high," while CBD does not. Both compounds interact with your body's endocannabinoid system, which affects pain, mood, sleep, and memory. People use CBD to relieve pain, anxiety, and depression, among other things. THC, on the other hand, is known for its psychoactive effects. It can make you feel euphoric, among other things. So, before using any cannabis product, it is important to understand what you are putting into your body. ----- #CBD #THC #Cannabis #MedicalBenefits #SideEffects #Legalities #HealthConditions #HealthProducts #MedicalNewsToday #Wellness
