This video is going to be Part 6 of 8 in a series which will go over the similarities and differences between insulation resistance testing and contact resistance testing. In this video I start talking about contact resistance testing. There are reasons why we cannot use a simple multimeter for contact resistance testing. The way in which the meter performs the measurement is the biggest problem. The fact that the test leads are also part of the measurement is detrimental to our low resistance measurements. A Kelvin bridge is what is needed to perform this measurement properly. Additionally, you can apply a higher current and measure the millivolt drop. That is the same principle as using a Kelvin bridge, because the current circuit and voltage circuits are isolated and on separate test leads. Stay tuned for more in this series! The next video (# 7 of 8) will dive further into contact resistance testing. #NETA #NICET #electricalmaintenance #testing #electricalsafety #electricalengineering #electricalindustry #powerdistribution #powertransmission #testingservices #training #teaching #electrical #team #tech #lovewhatyoudo

Electrical #Engineering #Power #Control #Amplifier #CMRR Q/ What is a differential amplifier? Also, explain CMRR. Ans/ Differential Amplifier: The amplifier, which is used to amplify the voltage difference between two input-lines neither of which is grounded, is called differential amplifier. This reduces the amount of noise injected into the amplifier, because any noise appearing simultaneously on both the input- terminals as the amplifying circuitry rejects it being a common mode signal. CMRR: It can be defined as the ratio of differential voltage-gain to common made voltage gain. If a differential amplifier is perfect, CMRR would be infinite because in that case common mode voltage gain would be zero

Series Connection :- • In a series circuit, all components are connected end-to-end, forming a single path for electrons to flow. Parallel Connection :- • In a parallel circuit, all components are connected across each other, forming exactly two sets of electrically common points. #electrical

Full Visual Control - - All loads and inputs can be connected from the front, with the load number matching the breaker number. - You can monitor the total current through the power distribution, which is especially useful when adding new loads by installing additional breakers. - The internal PCB (Printed Circuit Board) allows for easy connection and disconnection of loads without causing any wear. - Decoupling diodes provide redundancy (2 input supplies, 1 output load). Other features can be seen in the video (no sound). https://lnkd.in/e4bZXAcE Please let me know if you'd like to see a sample.
