What is your role? “I manage hospital contracts, act as the key administrative contact, and contribute to product pitches and marketing materials.” 3. What excites you most about Osler? “Most excited about the fact that Osler is a real product that adds real value and that the Osler team's professionalism and dedication has been noted by every hospital they have worked with. Our people rock!” 4. What future feature are you most excited about and why? “Most exciting feature is the ability to optimize surgical block schedules across multiple hospitals, meaning more surgeries with existing capacity in the Province.”

Advanced Energy Award Pilot Program now accepting applications  New round of advanced energy grants open until Feb 6.      SANTA FE, N.M. — Applications are now being accepted for the Advanced Energy Award Pilot Program from the New Mexico Economic Development Department.      The New Mexico Advanced Energy Award Pilot Program is a competitive state-funded grant that awards non-dilutive funds to New Mexico small businesses for advanced energy innovation and commercialization research and development. The grant funding will assist early-stage companies developing a unique product with strong growth potential. Selected proposals will be awarded between $250,000 and $1,000,000. Applications are due February 6, 2025, at 5 PM MST.     The funding provided through the New Mexico Advanced Energy Award (NMAEA) Pilot Program is intended to further the development of innovation and commercialization of advanced energy products or services while assisting companies in continuing to do business in New Mexico. Eligible proposals will demonstrate the potential to develop a unique product or service in the advanced energy field, commonly defined as technology and innovation that makes energy use cleaner, safer, more secure, and more reliable.   This is the second consecutive round of the Advanced Energy Award Pilot Program following the program’s launch in fiscal year 2024. In this inaugural round, the state awarded $3.4 million in grant funds to seven New Mexico companies: Flow Aluminum, GridFlow, Hydrosonics, Pajarito Powder, Sigma Advanced Technologies, TS-Nano, and UbiQD.    An informational webinar on the program will be held on January 15, 2025, at 1 PM MST — attendees can register for the webinar online.. Potential applicants are encouraged to attend and review the grant manual in advance. Employee Spotlight: Sjoukje Boersma's journey at Cygnific 🌟 Reflecting on my journey at Cygnific, I recently emptied my locker and filled my motorcycle trunk with years' worth of memories. Each chapter has shaped my career and personal growth in meaningful ways. B2C: Making the Connection I joined Cygnific at the age of 23 as a Business to Consumer (now Sales & Services) Agent. The role was demanding, but I found ways to incorporate creativity into my daily tasks. I created a flipbook filled with tips, focus points, inspiring quotes, important phone numbers. Using mandala drawings, I connected with customers, making my workday more enjoyable and effective. Next to my Agent job, I also took on an Editor role for the Cygnific Magazine and Weekly newsletter, further nurturing my creative side. KM: A Helicopter Ride Above All Products In 2017, I transitioned to a Knowledge Management Coordinator role. I loved creating clear overviews and transforming long texts into easy-to-read work instructions. Our team ensured that every change was well-communicated and understood across all Air France KLM operations. During the pandemic, we worked tirelessly to ensure that all ad hoc changes were quickly available in ASK. Quality Coordinator: Just Landed After five years in Knowledge Management, I embraced a new opportunity as a Quality Coordinator. My goal is to develop clear guidelines and checklists for Team Leads, ensuring a unified approach to improving team quality results. My KM background helps me connect the dots between departments, as quality is inseparable from knowledge. Personal Milestones During my time at Cygnific, I also achieved personal milestones like getting my motorcycle driver’s licence and working remotely from Gran Canaria. These experiences enriched my life and provided a healthy work-life balance. As I embark on this new chapter, I’m excited about the future.
