Project Launch: Systems Assessment for PLUS (Forth Valley) Ltd PLUS Forth Valley, a charity supporting children and young adults with disabilities and their families since 1988, is embarking on a vital digital transformation. Communication challenges and outdated systems have created inefficiencies and dissatisfaction among staff and families. This project aims to address these issues through a comprehensive review of their current tools. The project will focus on: 🔹 Evaluating communication methods to ensure nothing is missed and families feel supported. 🔹 Assessing Makerble (system used for managing care plans and event information) and identifying gaps to streamline processes and reduce duplication. 🔹 Recommending new systems tailored to PLUS’s unique needs. We’re excited to have Steven Finnie on board for this project. His expertise will help create more efficient operations and provide even better support for the hundreds of children and families they work with. Redwood Bank has committed its support to the National Literacy Trust throughout 2024/25. At Redwood, we’re passionate about supporting our local communities by working with charities, schools and non-profits. One organisation we’ve recently teamed up with is the National Literacy Trust. The National Literacy Trust is an independent charity that has been empowering children, young people and adults for over 30 years with the literacy skills they need to succeed. Literacy can include reading, writing, speaking and listening. As well as the financial commitment Redwood has made to the organisation, several of the Redwood team will be using their paid volunteer days to provide literacy educational sessions over the next 12 months. Literacy is key to many aspects of adult life, not least when it comes to finances.
