What a fantastic panel at the EVORA Global and Macquarie Group co-hosted GRESB infra results event in NYC last night. We heard views across the investment value chain on how and where ESG is driving value within infra investments. 👏 LP perspective – encouraging to learn about APG’s stance on being a change agent among investors by rooting sustainability within its core brand and engagement with managers. 🎯 GP – impressive to hear Macquarie’s thoughtful approach to on-boarding all new portfolio companies to their ESG road-map, which includes net zero by 2040 for Scope 1 and 2. 🍾 Portfolio Company – refreshing to hear how a focus on sustainability is driving real value for LRS through new business contracts, emissions reductions, and recognition awards. 🤝 Consultant – a masterful example of how EVORA is supporting funds and assets to accelerate progress and propel firms towards leadership. 📈 Benchmark – reassuring to hear how GRESB will evolve the submission to provide industry guidance on what net zero could look like for a diverse and complex sector which is pivotal in the transition to a low carbon economy. Well done to everyone involved and thank you to Macquarie for the use of your stunning new offices. Tess Pula Patrick Whalen Eleanor Hughes Joss Blamire Steven Hason #ESG #infra #netzero #NYC

I am immensely proud to share the news of Nadara’s 5-star GRESB rating, recognising our unwavering commitment to the management and reporting of sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. Based on our 2023 submissions for both Renantis and Ventient, our double score of 98/100 is testament to the collaboration of the entire Nadara team in a year of profound internal transformation. 2023 saw us engage in a joint strategic project to align our methodology for calculating scope 3 emissions, while also collaborating in a community forum. We avoided over 1.5m tCO2eq of greenhouse gas emissions, increased Renantis community engagement initiatives from 46% to 74% year-on-year and diverted 90% of our waste from landfill across the Ventient portfolio. As I write this today, our 5-star GRESB rating is confirmation that Nadara is on the right path to being recognised as a stable, reliable and sustainable renewable energy player.
We’re excited to share that we have achieved a five-star rating in the 2024 GRESB Infrastructure Asset Assessment, with an outstanding overall score of 98/100. This achievement reflects the voluntary assessment of 2023 data submitted by Renantis and Ventient Energy before their integration as Nadara. As Giulia Privitera, our Head of Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement, said: “This outcome is a testament to the contribution of our people, who are entirely committed to sustainability and live our values of impact, care, and connection.” To read more about our GRESB final results, visit our website: https://lnkd.in/dcDXetvF

We are pleased to share that Keppel has partnered Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Enterprise Singapore (Enterprise SG) to explore USD 800 million worth of energy transition, environmental sustainability and blended finance opportunities in Asia and the Pacific region. The energy and environment projects are expected to contribute towards building the pipeline of high-quality, proprietary infrastructure assets for Keppel’s private funds and listed business trust. The cooperation on blended finance, which explores potential uses of concessionary financing, will further improve bankability, support development outcomes, and help mobilise private investment for the projects. Ms Cindy Lim, CEO of Keppel’s Infrastructure Division, said, “As the global push towards decarbonisation accelerates, the demand for financing to support clean energy transition and environmental projects across the Asia Pacific has never been greater. Keppel offers technical expertise and innovative solutions for large-scale sustainable infrastructure projects. Leveraging our unique strengths as a global asset manager and operator, we can also mobilise external capital from partners effectively. Coupled with ADB’s concessionary financing and regional cooperation expertise, as well as EnterpriseSG’s deal-matching and market access capabilities, our partnership is uniquely positioned to drive impactful change and help the region achieve green growth.” Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/gYW5ruDN
