We had an incredible day with CAB practitioners and leaders at the CAB Conference #CABorgConf in Boston! Hannah Lagod and Lila Best of UPS shared lessons learned from evolving their CABs and how their CAB has directly impacted new product development. Amy Berusch of Atlassian talked about their CAB strategy refresh and what makes their CAB unique, one element is having founder involvement. What’s also unique is that they run successful hybrid CAB meetings. Dr. Tiffany Knight Raymond, PhD of PayPal gave us insights into strategic CAB member selection. They have created a strong community of advisors that co-create products, bring an outside in perspective, and drive value for the business. Jeff Hemenway of Stratasys talked about the keys to successfully launch a CAB. One key is to start with the why, the purpose of a CAB. And if your organization is not prepared to listen and act on the CAB’s feedback, don’t launch it.
