What lights you up? What lights me up is the opportunity to drive transformation through data and AI innovation. I love seeing the impact that data-driven strategies can have on shaping business decisions, creating value, and ultimately enhancing value for customers. It's incredibly fulfilling to mentor and guide teams to unlock their potential and push the boundaries of what's possible in technology. Outside of work, I find joy in spending time outdoors with my family, which has taught me the importance of balance, perseverance, and enjoying the journey—values I bring into my professional life as well. This picture was taken at 4 AM before I left the Philippines, capturing a moment of reflection after sharing several soulful sunrises and sunsets with Carlos last week. 🌅 Every morning, as the sky lit up with the promise of a new day, Carlos was always there—greeting me with a warm "Good morning" in multiple languages, including my native tongue. Our shared love for a good cup of coffee followed us as we journeyed to the offices, factory, and other local spots. Carlos, who previously helped launch Starbucks in the Philippines, and I spent our driving time talking about everything from consumer behavior and products to food, family traditions, and the art of cooking. One memorable day, the team even surprised him with a birthday cake—a gesture that truly brought us all closer together. Carlos was more than just my driver during this visit; he was my guide to the soul of the Philippines. He connected me to the culture, the music, and the very essence of life in this beautiful country. His spirit—constantly humming to the rhythm of life—taught me lessons that went beyond simply moving from place to place. Listening to his stories, I came to realize that the greatest gift is not just being seen but truly seeing another soul. Carlos reminded me that sometimes the simplest gestures—a smile, a song, a shared sunrise, or a meal enjoyed together—can create the deepest connections. What a week it has been! 💥 Last week, I had the honor of meeting our 60+ team in the Philippines, and I was flying back filled with positive energy, innovative spirit, and an eagerness to learn even more. This incredible energy comes directly from our wonderful team at the Philippines! 🙌 We kicked off the week on a competitive note, with seven teams jumping into a challenge to collaborate, quickly interpret unknown data, and deliver a working prototype solution in less than two hours—unbelievable! The energy in the room was fantastic, with everyone playing, smiling, interacting, and, most importantly, learning. 📊✨ It was also my first time meeting many of the team members in person. I could see the curiosity in their eyes, wondering, "Who is Elena? Should I ask her tough questions? Can she help me grow?" By Day 3, we were having open and thought-provoking conversations, diving into what we can improve, identifying new opportunities, and exploring our personal hobbies and interests 🌍🤝 I also had the chance to learn more about TE’s investments in the region and meet some key stakeholders. We toured the factory together, which sparked even more exciting discussions. Meeting with the zone managers from molding, contacts, and even having a chat with the restricted plating zone—yes, we definitely wanted to see the "golden contacts"! 😊 The assembly zone was particularly inspiring; it made us think about how we, as a team, fit together like components to produce valuable Tech, Data, Analytics, and AI solutions quickly, with predictable quality and scalability. Thank you, everyone, for an amazing week! I’m excited to carry this energy forward as we continue to build a great future together. Many years ago, when I worked at Johnson & Johnson, I had the pleasure of meeting Jyoti Jain. These were the early days of building out our first advanced #analytics, #data, and #technology capabilities for Johnson & Johnson Consumer (now Kenvue) as well as J&J Vision and Medical Devices. We were at the forefront of developing a future for businesses that were traditionally not advanced in using data and analytics for commercial, digital, customer engagement, manufacturing, and supply chain transformation. Like many data & analytics &AI innovators, we continued to exchange ideas, fueled by a shared passion for #life-changing insights, #tech #innovations, and #AI. But we hadn’t had the chance to meet since the pandemic. When I texted Jyoti saying I would be in #Singapore, she immediately said YES! During our catch-up, we had a fantastic discussion around: 👩💻 How data, analytics, and AI are evolving in response to technological advancements and the growing demands of organizations. 👩💻 The common challenges large companies face in implementing effective data strategies and governance frameworks. 👩💻 The importance of integrating data & AI into business strategies and how to truly measure the value they deliver. 👩💻 Debating the "buy vs. build in-house" approach, where we see wins, and future opportunities. We also talked about the exciting work happening at #TEConnectivity and #JohnsonJohnson Digital Surgery. Both companies are at the forefront of #medical innovation, and it's fascinating to see how tiny medical connectors are enabling smarter, smaller digital medical technologies, driving breakthroughs in the #healthcare industry. It was an inspiring conversation and a reminder of how important to stay connected, share ideas, partner, and innovate together!
