We were grateful to be able to help Young Scholars Charter School create the new library space for their scholars! 📚
Sometimes you just need an extra set of hands. 🙌🏾
This is awesome! I would love to see this happen in every Philadelphia school!

The attack on public schools is an attack on equity in our education system. Traditional public school districts in Ohio serve more than 1.8 million students and employ more than 245,000 Ohioans. An investment in our public schools is an investment in our nation’s 50 million public school students. #fundpublicschools #nationalpublicschoolsweek

Impact and progress matter. In this post from Robert Rogers he shares a recent blog from Brent Beasley about the state of our performance in Fort Worth Tarrant County schools. Our students are our future and thier progress or lack of progress does impact all of us. Here is a quick quote from his article. I encourage all of us to read it and think about actions we can take to make improvements. “Why does this matter? A recent study by the State of Texas followed 3rd graders who scored below grade level on the state assessment. As they followed those 3rd graders over the next 15 years, they found that less than 2% went on to earn a 2- or 4-year degree after high school. In other words, over 98% of 3rd graders who were below grade level did not earn a college degree of any kind. “How our kids are doing in school now matters immensely for what they will be able to do in their future. Our children who can’t read or do math at grade level are stuck behind a forbidding fence that runs between them and future opportunity.” #impsci #implementation #implementationscience #changemaker
I've started a new blog on our Fort Worth Education Partnership website. Here is my first post.

In a recent edition of Exchange Every Day dedicated to embracing families, communities, and culture, Monica Wells, our family and community program administrator, shared her deep connection to families and communities and how it positively impacts children's success. "Strong, authentic relationships between our families, students, and educators are key. We must speak life into our students, cheer them on, teach them the skills, and provide the tools they need to be prepared for the future. We must show examples of the power, importance, and necessity of community." Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gc7ur8uu

There's nothing like a good story - engaging, compelling, awe inspiring. We, at EPIT, believe storytelling brings to life the mahi our partners undertake so it's always good to see the release of Annual Reports from those we support. Check out the latest report from Te Kete Hono and see how their programmes are helping improve educational outcomes for our young learners, while also supporting their teachers with evidence-based data. #teaching #learning #studentengagement #feedback #realtimefeedback #engagement #storytelling
We are delighted to share our 2023 Annual Report with you. It has been a challenging year for the school community but we have been privileged to work alongside committed educators and support their amazing work. We hope you enjoy reading some of these stories.
