We are excited to announce this month's #employeespotlight as none other than Darryl Munsch, one of our rockstar Lead Developers who continuously goes above and beyond to support our clients. We had a few minutes to sit down with Darryl to discuss what he is passionate about: 1️⃣ How long have you worked at Elevator3? • Started as an Intern beginning of December 2020 • Promoted to Full-time in May of 2021 2️⃣ What has been your most favorite project you worked on at Elevator3? Why? Although I've enjoyed each project I've been assigned, working on Noma has been my favorite. I'm always excited to tackle tough problems, and this project has allowed me to solve new and challenging issues throughout its entirety. The past few months have been a blast working with fellow coworkers to solve countless problems thrown at us and see them in action. I've also enjoyed being a part of something that can help others in their day-to-day lives. 3️⃣ What would you tell a young person wanting to enter the technology workspace? You should be comfortable not knowing everything you need to know to complete the tasks you're given. Every day we work in technology, we learn something new. Be encouraged when you don't see the problem's solution immediately. 4️⃣ What has been your most proud, project or not, moment at E3? I'm always proud when I get to help newer developers grow and get more comfortable in their careers. The technology field is ever-changing and can seem intimidating. It's excellent seeing newer developers overcome imposter syndrome. 5️⃣ What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and as much time outdoors as possible. I also enjoy building new things for the house and expanding my cooking skills at home. 6️⃣ What do you enjoy most about working in the technology field? What I enjoy most about working in this industry is the ability to continue learning every day. There is always more to learn in every aspect of every workday. I'm grateful to have a career that allows me to do so and allows me to pass on that knowledge to others. 7️⃣ What inspired you to pursue a career in technology? I've always been drawn to technology. Whether it's the latest hardware or software, I've always been eager to get my hands on it and to learn how stuff works. Multitasking increases productivity. Sometimes I think it's a good idea and try it. I end up having to do more work on the 'main' thing. I find it better to focus on one thing at a time.
