'Ten simple rules for successful and sustainable African research collaborations' 🌍 ✨ has finally been published in PLOS Computational Biology 🎉 An incredibly simple and extremely powerful paper that I would recommend all to read! Do reach out, leverage LinkedIn and the connected world we live in to learn more and build your network with the research community in your field within the African continent. To quote the final line of the paper "By following these rules, researchers can contribute to a more equitable and dynamic scientific enterprise that not only addresses the challenges faced by the continent but also leverages its unique opportunities for significant global impact." It was an absolute honour to work alongside Roseline Dzekem DINE and all of the authors Lamis Elkheir, Morufu Olalekan RAIMI (MNES, REHO, LEHO, FAIWMES), Michael Alemayehu, Salem Youssef Mohammed , Justice Kwadwo Turzin, Femi Arogundade, MPH (in view), Elizabeth Ochola, Ph.D. M.S. Global Bioethics, Alex Mukungu Nasiyo, Raziah Quallatein Mwawanga, Yahaya Yabo on this paper in 2023 and all of the initiatives driven forward by the eLife Sciences Publications, Ltd. African Ambassadors such as the African Reproducibility Network. The future is bright! 🌍 ✨
