Last week involved four workshops in four cities (picture of the amazing Lavery lawyers in Quebec City below!). Here are a few key perspectives/takeaways from the discussions in those professional development workshops: 1) There’s no such thing as a stupid question, but there are stupid ways and times to ask a question 2) Respond to emails even if it’s just to confirm you saw it, and let them know when you’ll get back to them 3) People want more feedback from their peers, but we rarely ask our peers for their feedback (try asking a peer what they think your blind spot is) 4) If you can’t deliver excellent quality work, don’t take it on. And if you did commit to the work, get it done right. 50% baked deliverables are usually useless. Geneviève Langelier Anaïs Gascon-Vaillancourt, LL.L. Stephanie Sullivan Kelsey Cleland loved seeing you last week! #EQ #professionaldevelopment #workshops #publicspeaking
All 4 perspectives are solid, love it!
