Event day is like game day. If your relationship with teammates, partners, suppliers, and clients are not solid, the cracks will show up in the final, stressful weeks leading up to your event and they will 100% show up on-site on game day. There is certainly going to be issues at your event and you need everyone to be in alignment to properly tackle these issues. Everyone from venue to decor, AV to photographers, they all need to be reading from the same playbook. But they also need to like & trust each other. Leading up to a large event next month, our team is hosting a mixer with all of our partners, vendors, and clients this week. With 30+ days to go until the event (but who’s counting), we wanted to give everyone a chance to meet each other and connect on a human level before the craziness of the next month hits. Is having a few drinks and appetizers going to solve all our problems? No, not if communication, trust building, and respect isn’t there, but it’s one small thing we can do to help create a stronger team when we head on-site. It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane… it’s a concept event, and we’re flying high!🛫 It’s different, it’s unique, it’s exceptional, and the highlight is that it’s all built around the same theme. So how do we produce an event that gets people thinking, when they happen to be the most creative talents ever - at the very least. 1️⃣ Choose a topic that you feel a connection with, knowing it will create a buzz, followed by glitter and glam. It can be a movie, a trend, the dress theme from an event you love (Burning Man, doesn’t matter which one), or anything that crosses your mind. Anything goes. 😎 As long as it stands out with passion and pizazz. 2️⃣ Put all the pieces together - like a puzzle! The key to a successful event is to make sure all elements are in synch. From music - to food – to the artistic design - to the dress theme. 🎩 3️⃣ Use the venue’s complementary services, not only so that people will rave to the heavens about it…But also to save you time and money on features like décor and design, sound, lighting, and actors 🤹🏻♀️.
