Our Mindset In 2030 💚🇸🇦 Couple of years ago,while waiting for the traffic light to turn into green in one of busiest streets in jeddah,I switched the radio station to listen to one of the popular football talk shows in Saudi. That night,the host wanted to capture an important insight about how we approach problem solving. To do so,he dropped a question about the x- national football team coach,and he asked the audience to recommend solutions for the disappointing performance of the national football team. He was clear about what kind of feed-back he was looking for,which is the solution. Unfortunately,all who decided to participate answered incorrectly. Regardless of the clear question,all answers turned out to be out of scope. Audience,instead,focused on expressing their anger,driven by the below than expected national team results. At the end of the show,the host declared his disappointment. That year,our national team did not make it to the World Cup in South Africa,after a sequence of continuous successful qualifications to the World Cup in 1994,1998,2002,and 2006. Since 2018,however,we have never missed a World Cup,and I expect that in the upcoming years,we would not only participate,but also we would create a remarkable results. Thanks to the shift in mindset,we have managed to approach how we solve problems differently. We have learnt to distribute our effort fairly on troubleshooting,prioritizing the most relevant next steps,and successful execution of action plans,and this is what causes the unique harmony between Saudis,and the Royal Family. In summary,we shall not underestimate the power of changing the mindset of nations,as it creates an endless loop of trust between the people,and who is in charge of running the nation. In Saudi we feel lucky.Our leadership has been putting people first,and this is why we thrive.We dream,and achieve. #we_dream_and_achieve
