I often wonder why it is that there is such a focus on #ACTIVITY in many #DriverRecruitingDepartments. Could it be that many of the #Directors of #DriverRecruiting came from #Operations, #CustomerService, or #Marketing ... and #NOT from #SALES ?? Could it be that in the #TruckingIndustry's desire to embrace #DEI and #Woke-ism, we lost focus on what #DriverRecruiting really is ... and what it is #NOT ?? #CEO's, #Presidents, #Owners of #TruckingCompanies ... could it be in your desire to be part of the #TruckingEstablishment and to attract #WallStreet-type investors that you lost the heart, and especially the soul, of what your company truly is and is striving to be ?? #CriticalThinking encourages #LEADERS to challenge themselves, their organizations, their employees and associates to question #WHY are we doing things a certain way. If the #ONLY answer is ... "Well, that's the way we've #ALWAYS done it" ... or worse ... the response is the deafening sound of #SILENCE and #CRICKETS ... Well, I think we all know what needs to be done at that point, don't we ?? And it's not pretty !! The #biggest reason why I enjoy being part of the Sutton Transport, Inc. Team is that from Cliff Sutton on down, including the #LeadershipTeam, every #DepartmentHead and #Director, every #TerminalManager, in fact virtually #EVERY fellow #TeamMember that I have interacted with so far ... #EVERYONE embraces the #Team concept, on a daily basis challenges the #StatusQuo, believes that "Good is #NOT Good Enough".... And most of all, that "The Customer (both internally & externally) comes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th ... and there ain't no 5th" !! Enjoy the video ... and Have a Blessed Week !! .
