I spent my morning on a job site working through a field fix with the contractor. We took turns brainstorming and sketching on drywall to improve the solution. There were no egos and no finger pointing. No "do it my way" comments. Instead it was "This is the fun stuff, we get to solve problems and figure stuff out together."
This is how it should be. But I also know this is often the exception rather than the rule for field fixes. We're all on the same team and we should all have the same goal - a safe, successful completed project. It takes so little effort to work together.
