The Concorde was unique in all of her aspects, On ground handling, TakeOff handling, Cruising, Approach and Landing handling. Here, AirFrance's Concorde is on final approach- the touchdown phase. Look out for the ANGLE OF ATTACK as the pilot flying executes the flare. Why was the Angle of Attack super high? Let's enlighten each other the flight parameters of the Concorde and the delta wing shape effect...Off to the comments section or shall we??

Can you tell us when? The Concorde, a turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner, flew at twice the speed of sound (Mach 2.04) and reduced travel time for #transatlantic flights. #Neotech #Avionics #Aviation #Supersonic

School turns Airbus 319 fuselage into library The section of the plane is from the retired Antonio Sergio aircraft that flew with Air Portugal. It came from an aviation salvage specialist in the UK, who cut and stripped the plane and tailored it to our needs, including adding access doors to the hold for storage. "The library, which we have called the 7FAW7, is expected to be ready for the beginning of the next school year (providing that there are no ‘flight’ delays)". https://ow.ly/vzxC50RcTfs #AviationLibrary #UpcycledEducation #AircraftFurniture #SchoolLibraryDesign #EducationInnovation #AviationCulture #CreativeLearningSpaces #SustainableSchools #FutureReadyEducation #InnovativeClassrooms

Collaboration has always been a central principle to advancing aviation. That’s why for a number of years NATS has been actively participating in the Borealis Alliance’s Free Route Airspace Programme. During this time Air Navigation Service Providers from a number of different states (including EU and non-EU) have been working together to maximise the benefits that FRA can bring. https://hubs.la/Q02dsPB20

Please look carefully at such publications… Aeroflot Group will buy whatever it is told, no matter how long the delay is going to be. First of all, till now SJ-100s have been assigned only to the fleet of member of the group Rossia Airlines. Aeroflot Airlines itself does not have such type and new ones have nothing to do with SU itself. Soon or later they will come. Secondly, Tu-214 can be produced by factory in Kazan in a quantity of 4-5 per annum - not a big deal. There will be enough other customers. But…the key moment is that this type was designed according to ancient standards - with third person in the cockpit (board engineer). For SU this is the showstopper, no matter the design bureau and the producer promised to “look at the issue” MC-21 needs to prove its operational efficiency. Maybe it will be better than its Chinese rival (and potential alternative for SU) which is already operational? Let’s see….
Russia’s Aeroflot - Russian Airlines wants to cancel orders for Superjet 100 regional jets and Tupolev Tu-214 narrowbodies due to the delays with the development of the import-free modifications on these models https://lnkd.in/dQKCnipX

Many are not aware that Air France's first few Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde aircraft were delivered in the airline's pre-1976 livery. Variations of this earlier color scheme had been used for decades by the French flag carrier. It was replaced by what could legitimately be called the very first "Euro-white" look. This is the design the company still uses, in slightly modified form, today. F-BTSC is seen here in the old livery, having been photographed in early 1976 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Sadly is was -BTSC which became the first, and only, Concorde to be involved in a fatal crash (in the year 2000 on departure from this very airport). After a long grounding for safety modifications the Anglo-French supersonic transports were returned to service with Air France and British Airways in 2001. The type was then permanently grounded in 2003 due largely to continuing very low load factors during the worldwide air traffic downturn in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington D.C.
