A 47-year-old male patient underwent a root canal treatment four months ago. The patient has been experiencing a dull lingering pain since the procedure, which occasionally escalates into sharp pain. Upon conducting a radiographic investigation, it was evident that there is a poorly condensed root filling in the P canal. Following access opening and GP removal, I discovered a vital MB2. This emphasizes the importance of using varying obturation techniques based on the root canal anatomy, as single cones may not completely fill all the space within the root canal. Furthermore, it is apparent that magnification plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal root canal treatment. Without magnification, locating additional canals such as the MB2 can prove to be quite challenging.
